Family Picture

This NEVER happens!! We actually got a picture of all three of us last night before Brent and I went to a wedding. I hate pictures of myself, so I usually try to stay behind the camera, but I know that's lame and we need to have more pictures with Mommy in them. Maybe after #2 comes and I lose the baby weight...

Hunter - 21 Months

(Added a picture below of Hunter at ITZ, riding his horse.)
I don't think Hunter can officially turn 21 months old because there aren't 29 days in February this year...oh well, but I thought it was close enough and a good reason to catch up on some photos.

Houston Zoo

We went to the zoo a few weeks ago and I never got around the posting the pictures. It was Hunter's first trip to the zoo and he loved every second!!
.
First carousel, first giraffe, first elephant, first lion...a day of firsts. And he was asleep in the car less than 5 minutes after we got in. What a day!!

Baby #2

I had my 16 week doctor's appointment last week. No exam really, but they listened to the heart again. Strong 157 beats/minute. We scheduled my "anatomy" ultrasound for March 24, so we will confirm the sex of the baby and make sure all of his organs are there and in the right spots.
.
Second trimester is definitely different from the first (no surprise). My appetite is kind of strange...I eat because I know I'm supposed to eat, but I'm never really all that hungry. Brent will vouch for the fact that I eat cereal twice a day, which is probably not very good for me, but it's so hard to eat real food at night.

Other Stuff

Grandmommy came to visit this weekend. We had a lazy day and played and played and played. It was good quality time. Brent is actually out of town this weekend, so Hunter and I are trying to figure out what we're going to do the rest of the day...let me know if you have any great ideas.
.
We also went back to ITZ entertainment place, or whatever it's called. It's kind of like Gatti town. I think Brent got pictures on his i-Phone, so I will have to get him to email them to me so that I can post them here. Hunter had his first "roller coaster" ride with Mommy, which was actually a lot more exciting than I expected! I don't think Brent managed to snap a picture since it was going a bit faster than we thought it would. Oh, I also beat Brent playing basketball...I think my high score was 36 while his was only 31. I'm just hoping he doesn't read this blog and see that I totally betrayed him by telling you all that I kicked his butt.
