Hunter - 9 weeks

Somehow, Daddy captured Hunter smiling in my arms. This is one of the only pics we have of the two of us since Mom is usually behind the camera. :)

Hunter also had his 2 month checkup today. He was 25 inches long and 11 lbs 10 oz - still average on weight, but much taller than normal, so he's long and lean.

First Pool Adventure

Hunter and I went swimming at our friend Lisa's house today. The weather was perfect and the water was better than perfect. Hunter loved the water, but wasn't so fond of the sun or his hat, so we didn't stay out in it too long.

Thanks for having us over Lisa! Hope we can do it again sometime!!

Hunter - 8 weeks

Hunter - 7 weeks

I wish I had thought to do this from week 1 - it turns out the pool table makes a great backdrop for pictures.

So, Hunter is 7 weeks old...time is going way too fast and he is getting so big. He is 11 pounds now and is still a wonderful baby - consistently sleeping 7-8 hours a night.

Hunter is also very patient with Mommy's picture taking...he's hardly spent any time with this sweet little puppy dog, but still managed to pose for Mommy and hug him close for the picture. In case you can't tell, he's about to fall asleep in this one - the pacifier certainly helps soothe him.
