Animal sounds

So, a lot has changed in the last month or so at our house. Hunter moved into his new class at school. He got his glasses. He says "baby" when I ask what's in Mommy's belly. The thing is, there are probably a zillion other things that this child can do that I am clueless of. I am pretty sure this is a direct result of his new classroom and the activities that they do.
.
Last night gave us a very good example of this. Long ago, Hunter would tell us what a cow says - mooooo. Then he stopped and would not make the sound no matter how hard we tried. He also has done his own doggy sound for awhile (more like "huh huh"). Well, then he got into a little Disney book on Simba, the Lion King, and started "roaring" like a lion. This is a pretty cool, gravely sound he makes, with the R's and everything - this was probably late December or maybe just earlier this year. Well, apparently the kid knows nearly every animal sound now and I didn't even know it. We went through the list last night - snake (sssss), cat (meow - the cutest ever), horse (nayyyyyyyyyy), cow (moooo), line (rrrrroarrrr), dog (huh huh), frog and rabbit are the same (this isn't a sound - this is hopping up and down and laughing hysterically - I have to get this on video), duck (kack kack), bird (teet teet - louder than you can imagine and with gritted teeth), rooster (sometimes comes out as just doo-doo-doo, but cockerdoo came out once or twice), and the strangest one ever is for baby, which consistently came out as a panting sound and I have NO clue what that is!!!
.
I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two, but Brent and I were laughing so hard as Hunter was showing this off last night. We got the camera back yesterday, so hopefully I can get some video soon. It is just amazing how much this kid changes every day!!!
